About the course
It is believed that Russian is not only one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, but also one of the most difficult to learn. In our course, we will show that acquaintance with the Russian language can be exciting and even funny. Small video sketches illustrate and explain grammatical material, allow you to quickly and easily get used to a new linguistic environment. The lexical blocks are selected in such a way that by the end of the course the student will be able to independently solve elementary communicative problems in Russian (at the A1 level).

Course program
In this module, students will get acquainted with the primary rules of Russian etiquette, get a first idea of the Russian language, be able to greet, introduce themselves, tell basic information about themselves, get acquainted with the peculiarities of the Russian inflection (genitive), with a positive and negative answer to questions. In this module, students will get acquainted with constructions that allow them to talk about a family, learn how to describe their family, and study a grammatical topic: possessive pronouns.

In this module, students will get acquainted with the accusative case of nouns, study the constructions I love / I like, learn how to form the accusative case of nouns, learn new verbs with which the accusative case is used. Listeners will get acquainted with the real tense of the verb, learn to talk about their day, about the daily routine, learn to understand by ear and name the time.

In this module, students will get acquainted with adjectives in the nominative case, learn what antonyms are. Students will learn to use the vocabulary of color designations, study the conjugation of the verb „seek“, the peculiarities of its usage. They will also get acquainted with the peculiarities of using words in a situation of going to the store, practice listening and reading skills, study the future tense of the verb, verbs of movement and adverbs of place.

In the module, students will gain knowledge about the instrumental case of a noun, acquire the skill of creating a complete, formalized written text, study the dative case of a noun, and get acquainted with a new grammatical category: the type of the verb. They will also learn to understand the difference between a single and repeated action, learn to distinguish between a process, a result, and select the appropriate verbs.
